Uh, it attaches to the power connector. Have you ever even used a CK3 before? Yah, so anyway, you get a special power cable that has the probe connector on it. You can use both probe v1 and v2 with it. It mean you have to keep the dvd drive you're modding very close to your computer though. You could alway make a longer power cable i guess.

Nope never used a CK product, tried googling some images up to see how it might attach and then lost interest... if they make a package that includes the probe and any other crap you might need for all the various drives i might consider.

for anyone needing to know. 5 1/4 is basically the size of your cd drive... so if you have a spare cd drive port, you are good. and it is saying it will be including a ck3 pro, which means USB cable to your pc, no sata/serial stuffs =) Looks like a cool idea, I don't have too much trouble using my pc, but with the new liteons coming out, and my pc moving alot it would be nice for something I can just slide in there

This is a very interesting move from Team Xecuter. As with their products in the past, this one should have the same exceptional quality and look to it, as well as making the whole setup for modders much cleaner.

Would love to see Maximus come out with something like this, because I favor my 360 Xtractor a lot.

$50 and include a 2 foot power cable = sold.   The LCD screen could easily of been LED's also.

It seems nice, and seems practical, but when you actually try to use it and all the wires and probes are sticking out of it i can see it being a pain in the ass and many peoples drives being dropped.

My case is rather big. smile.gif

To be useful for most people with somewhat tall PC towers it will need to come with a pretty long power and SATA cable.

I bought a (sorry to lazy to look it up now) spy adapter for the PC. It adds a Sata and Molex  connector to the back of the PC. The Sata and Molex are long enough to keep my adapter on top of the desk and within easy reach to connect a DVD drive and power it on and off. As far as 360 modding, one of the best purchases made so far.

Team Xecuter hater here... and I like this.  Good to see them heading in the right direction with something that people might (and I say might) actually want, even me!  now throw in a USB SPI interface for Jtaggin' and I'd be willing to pay $100 for this crap!  Maximus my good sir, looks like the ball is in your court!  Can't wait to see what you will make in regards to this kind of product.  Come to think of it, why haven't you made this earlier?  Maybe you did, and they stole the idea before you can start prototyping yours.  Who knows these days anyways.  What a market....what a market indeed!   biggrin.gif

Nope, you still need a VIA card to flash Lite-Ons.

Very handy indeed.  I especially like the external DVD power connector.  Like said above, if they include a lengthy-enough cable I might just pick one up.  No more opening case and borrowing cables.  Integrates a CK3 connector kit pro, that means hard drives too, right?

It looks like you can put into an external enclosure. I see a molex plug & possibly a sata on the back in the pic. If that is a USB on the back, it would be nice if Team Xecuter made their own external enclosure. Would be amazing if it connected internally to IDE; it would be compatible with just about anything.

I do believe you are smoking the crack. The article specifically states '5 1/4" PC Bay Complete Control Panel for all Xbox 360 Connectivity Functionality and more !" & "Power Switch For DVD Vendor Mode"

"All" would probably include Lite-ons  laugh.gif Does the power switch have anything to do with the probe? That is MRA, right? I just dont know how that switch would be connected to the device externally.

I got the Talismoon Minispy USB Kit (http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=530277) because at the price I paid for it I got a really cheap external Molex PSU. I use a laptop now for all modding/flashing etc (PCMCIA VIA 6421 does all drives)  so have no use for a 5.25" control panel, but 2 years ago I would have considered it.

I wish Team Xecuter would go bankrupt or at least give up, They seem to release nothing but shit these days.
