Looks like a decent idea but not sure how practicle it will be.

To be useful for most people with somewhat tall PC towers it will need to come with a pretty long power and SATA cable.

at 1st with this i thought wtf this crap they really are churning out any old shit they can

but the more i think bout it the bet it is i can see a lot of the prof modders buying this will be handy if you have a lot of drives to do

if it had a rs232 port and its not to much money i would consider getting this

Some special use? If the people have right now the ck3 pro/lite adds some extra action?

I'm waiting for all the Xecuter haters to show up as usual and start complaining about what a useless bit of kit this is.
Personally i think its an excellent way to tidy the Xecuter conectivity kit up and if it wasn't for the fact my PC is out of sight behind my AV rack i'd buy one of these straight away.

At the time of writing this post, I didn't find much more about this on Team Xecuter's site....but definately looks good.

I was thinking of something similar mounted in a spare drive bay, but nowhere near as elaborate as this! smile.gif

I definately like this concept. I won't have to keep taking off the side panel on my PC, shutting down and rebooting etc.

Kudos to the Team - I want one NOW  tongue.gif

Probably $100 range I'd imagine.

I want this in a 3.5" form factor so I can fit it in my Shuttle PC which I use for modding. Why the hell would I ever need an LCD display of that size on a unit such as this? A waste of space and money! A 3.5" panel with built in CK3 and USB/SATA/power ports sound mighty good.

I was wondering the same thing! If it has the probe socket on the final unit (i presume thats a prototype) i would buy as i hate pulling out and dismantling my pc each time someone brings an xbox 360 over.

Great news.  I can finally close up my case (I always have the side open due to modding).  my only problem would be that i need two esata ports, one for hitachis using my intel sata controller and one for all other drives using my via card without drivers! This shouldn't cost more than $50.  its just a power adapter with a fancy case.  the esata connectors are pretty cheap, and the lcd screen looks pretty cheap too.

Uh, it attaches to the power connector. Have you ever even used a CK3 before? Yah, so anyway, you get a special power cable that has the probe connector on it. You can use both probe v1 and v2 with it. It mean you have to keep the dvd drive you're modding very close to your computer though. You could alway make a longer power cable i guess.
