After a great deal of requests we have designed a simple switch for all the Liteon drives that enables firmware full read/write. We have also included an On/OFF Led to show correction operation when switching to 0×72 vendor mode.

The installation is very simple and takes about 60 seconds if you have some small experience with a soldering iron. It has been tested with the original DOSFLASH methods and also the new Jungle Flasher 0.1.69. All Liteon drive version have been tested with 100% Success. There is no need to remove the LT Switch after it has been installed - simply switch to normal mode.

If you have to cut the trace then I dont think alot of people would benefit from this, cutting traces is hard as hell.

i dont think this is going to sell to good as the people that will use this method will just use wire as its a lot cheaper

uhh yeah especially since its a flimsy little pcb with a switch, led and a resistor and you still have to cut your traces, team xecuter is ripping people off at $8 a pop seems like they haven't been doing much this generation.

I will personally continue to use wire and a switch.  However, I think Xecuter has been great at supporting the Xbox community with good products over the years.  Not useful for most, but this product has its place IMO.

this actually looks fairly useful... takes some of the mess out of reading the drive key. Still not a real noob solution but I like the idea. I may see myself investing in one of these if live ever becomes safe again.

it will be very hard. I know. I remember the v1.6 LPC rebuild boards for the xbox1. This involves the cut trace and soldering onto the thin strip of exposed copper trace. If you have alot of experience it will help alot. Just a forewarning.  pcb overlays are bitches to get on.

as others have said, only useful if it doesn't require trace cutting and does not need to be installed for the drive to operate thereafter (this way it could be removed and used on other drives to acquire the key).

so you are still trace cutting, and you are still soldering.. sorry but why do people want this, again?

Haha glad someone else thought the same thing, besides you'll still get banned so why do all the effort when you can just use an older drive. Hell banned ones are cheap as hell.

Actually, it seems with this thing installed reconnecting cut traces is no longer required (if you don't take it off of course). I can see this being useful, but 8$ is too much. Now, if it were 5 or less I'd definitely go with this method for all my customers.
