3rrod And Power Supply

When my stepbrother's 360 got the RRoD and we had Microsoft replace it (it wasn't hacked) they asked if the power light on the power supply was green or amber. They said that if it's amber then it's the power supply, not the Xbox. I could be wrong, as it's been a while ago, but it sounds right to me.

Thanks for answering. I have too identical suplies and both of them gave me the same error. I will try another 175w 14,2 supply.
