so i just did the xclamp fix to fix an xbox(xenon) with E79.
Now when I load anything but the dashboard the system goes into turbo mode. Ridiculously loud. I have a 12V mod on my falcon and its about the same loudness.

Is this normal? The xbox dash is fairly regular so it seems like its not. Is this system just trying to fend off death?

You might not have the heatsinks tightened down well enough so they arent makeing good enough contact with the chips causing the chips to begin to raise in temperature rapidly which would make your fans go higher in rotation to try and cool the box.
