bought a second hand box that has a screwed up dvd drive and problem with controllers connecting to it.
im not concerned about the drive since i want to jtag it and can do without it for now and will replace down the line.
any way controllers wont fully connect to it, plugged in usb or wireless

when attempting to sync the controller and xbox flash like they found eachother then no controller light displays on the ring and the controller ring just keeps flashing

the controller doesnt work on screen

but if i the xbox is off i can power it on with the conroller (wireless or plugged in)

i have changed rf boards, same situation.
is this hardware related or is there a possibility if i load up the hacked dash mayb it will restore full functionality

any ideas or suggestions greatly appreciated thanks
