Uncripple Questions

I have been looking at quite a few tutorials online to flash the nand on the 360 after getting banned last week to regain the ability to rip games to the hdd. However the only way I have found to do this is with the LPT port and that will take about a day and a half to do with the 512MB board. I saw that people were using the LPC2148 but there is really no explanation on how to go about using it to flash the nand.

From what I understand I do not need to connect any resistors or diodes to the 360 if I use the LPC2148. I was planning on getting this thing off of ebay (link).

Basically I have few questions regarding the process.
1. Is the board that I posted from ebay something that will work for this?
2. Do I need to use any resistors/diodes if I get the LPC2148?
3. I read that the LPC2148 needs to be flashed, will I need to get anything to do that?
4. I know the JTAG hack cannot be done with the latest update, but can the uncripple hack work with the latest updates?

Sorry for the long post, but I couldn't really find anything that explained how to use the LPC2148 with a 360 and after reading many posts on forums, the people that used the LPC2148 didn't really explain what they did.

just for starters...the lpt trick to read/write the nand may take the longest..but it's the cheapest way to do it...
the  LPC2148(for USB) also needs a board to program it to work with the hack......

and if your not worried about money just go for the infectius2 with the add on ...I'd say use the Cygnos360 V2 but i don't think it supports 256-512 jasper boards yet....

I have to say that you just made my day. after reading all those posts i thought that i had lost the capability to uncripple as well. i just want to get the ability to rip games to my hdd back. are there any tutorials on using the infectus2 to uncripple the system. i saw a few people asking about it but no real details. i'm open to trying out a different method of uncrippling the system but i have no experience with modding.

i might end up going with the the lpc2148 because it seems like all i will have to do is solder the wires from the board and connect directly to the LPC2148. Also, according to the nandpro2 document, i won't have to use any resistors or diodes if i was to use the LPC2148 as well.

yes the infectius2 is a bit hard for you to understand and install for now.....(no offense but more wires and programming)...

remember if just reading the nand and writing back to it...you need 7 wires(lpt trick) its the cheapest and easiest( i swear after you do it you will smile big) i showed you the links to the LPC2148 <trick and it has to be programed first....all the mobo's are the same for the nand read and write, it's the way you install what resistor or diode to get it to work......

after this there is in this forums a couple of different ways to uncripple the nand to make the hd installs normal once again....

nope sorry i had no reason to use that usb programmer.......look up xboxhacker
for the LPT trick....just because some members it took a while does not mean it will take you that long...(remember all pc are not the same smile.gif)
and if you hunt stuff down on xboxhacker you will see some errors are acceptable and if there are to many...there is a block mover to fix this...also you have to to dump the nand more then once to compare nands to make sure you don't reflash and bork your console......
and sorry as i said in the past post I used an infectius2 with the addon ..it's made for this kinda of stuff...the LPT trick is a homebrew just like the USB trick...
P.S all i did was when i dumped 2 nands sets is reflashed one back (so i know it was ok was error free anyway) then you can do the magic from there...
