2009 Arcade 360 Question

hi all,
i have a couple questions thanks,

1. i just bought a 2009 arcade 360 tht was manufactured in 2009, and i was wondering how long the 360 will last if i left it the way it is or if i go ahead and do the 12v mod for the fans.(lifespan)

2. im not sure if i have the 2nd gen. gpu heatsink in it cause i didnt see the extra heatsink tht comes off the gpu heatsink. idk if my eyes were trippen or wht but do all new 2009 360's come with both 2nd gen. cpu n' gpu heatsinks?

it has the 2nd gen heatsink. and well put it this way. if you have no reason to open the case then just leave it the same. but if your going to mod it like case mods, flash, drive, leds or stuff like that then go ahead and open it. use it as much as you can before it breaks and who knows maybe it wont ever break.
