Small Xbox 360 Motherboard Revision: GPU-revision, RF-Module

MODFREAKz posted pictures of an Xbox 360 (MFR Date 2009-09-20) with a somewhat updated motherboard revision. No huge changes, so it's probably still a Jasper.

It seems to have a new GPU-revision (Kronos1), new RF-module and some small layout changes. CPU, HANA, southbridge, 16mb NAND, RAM are same. No heatsink changes either, MS stopped using the 2nd GPU heatsink/pipe a while ago already.
The DVD drive is a Lite-On DG-16D2S 93450C-2.
The CB/CD are of course JTAG-fixed as with any 360 made since ~mid-June.

They aren't using epoxy on the edges of the chips now to keep the chip from warping. They must be getting pretty confident.

Did I buy a Jasper that can not be JTAG,my MFD is 15 july 2009 120g elit,the dashboard is exploitable 2.0.7363.0?Is this for certain?

What matters for the JTAG hack is the CB (and CD indirectly) version.
Now if you have an old Xbox 360 ... it's easy to know ... Microsoft updated and locked those to a non-exploitable version with the 849x update.
For "new" 360s it's a different story tho, Microsoft started using the fixed CB before they shipped them with 8498 onboard. So it's very possible to have a 7xxx kernel but with a fixed/locked CB already. From user reports we know MS started shipping with the fixed CB around mid June 2009. But that date might vary based on production plant and line.

Easiest way to find out is to wire up the LPT points and dump your NAND, open the image in 360 Flash Tool, and report back which CB you have.

That is a f*****g dilema open the box and solder-dump-check and the warrantys gone or sold it with the warranty intact,and look for an older MFD.btw sorry for this offtopic.

I've got the same RF module in my Elite dated 2009-09-07. The drive is a Lite-on 83450C V2. I haven't checked checked to see if I also have the Kronos GPU.
I've dumped the NAND, but I couldn't get Xell running because the CD/CB was already at version 6750, so JTAG was already disabled... DB was at 7363 originally but it was updated to 84xx or 85xx when I played H3:ODST.
The big difference in the RF module is that all components are moved to the back. Also there are is room for 2 connectors on the RF module itself, but the connectors aren't soldered on yet. Maybe MS will add some new features to those connectors in the future, or maybe they are just there for debugging.

it seems they finaly changed solder balls material as they are so confident to put it without glue i got one of those mobo in elite manufactured 2009-08-02 drive 83450c v1 i was like looking all around for those boxes with 83450 v1 drives as later ones was not dumpable at time lol got assured 100% that drive was 83450c v1 and flashable by store

you mean 74850C (liteon v1)
