360 Serial Ata Connector On Mobo
« on: November 10, 2009, 09:21:00 AM »

hey all,

I have a red ringing 360 with the foxconn mobo from 06. as I opened and closed it many times I stupidly tore the plastic connector that was soldered into the serial ata spot. (by the dvd power). To remedy this I soldered the serial ata wire directly to the mobo then superglued the crud out of it in hopes of keeping it a relatively solid connection. (took forever ;_;) since I've exhausted all my options I decided to bake the damn thing and as I was prepping the board I noticed one of the connections had torn so I just took the entire cable out.

I was wondering if anyone knew what the plastic piece part number was or knew where I could get a replacement if at all possible. Worst comes to worst I spend an hour soldering the thing in again but  I thought I'd try asking here first. (I know far stretch)
