Hi, I recently bought an Xbox360 with E74 to repair. I ordered a RROD repair kit, but I got impatient and decided to crack it open and take a look inside. I removed the old thermal paste, then reflowed the HANA chip to the GPU and solved the E74 problem.
I now have the 2 red lights over-heating problem. I have my 360 opened, with the fans plugged in and the fan shroud put in. After about 20 seconds, it stops and flashes two red lights.
Will the X-clamp repair fix this, or is there another issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
