Microsoft Offical Repair

Anyone have any experience with MS official repairs for $99.99?  Im thinking about sending mine in, which is out of warrenty but has also been opened as well, will they not except this or will they charge another fee?  I know this question would be better directed to ms but I dont feel like holding on the phone atm.

You opened it - they will not accept it for repair, even if you pay.
