Question About Cpu/gpu Temps And 2 Red Rings
« on: October 07, 2009, 04:13:00 PM »

Does anyone know the autoshutdown temps for the 360?

Like at XXX*F the xbox 2 red rings/auto shutdowns.

I currently am working on a 360 that is shutting down around 129*F (~50*c). 0013.

I assume this means that either the CPU is getting too hot, or the RAM chips are having issues.  I have reflowed the RAM with a heatgun / reflux, and it is still having issues.  It runs for about 2 mins roughly, and then low and behold 2 red rings....Ive 12v fan modded it, reflowed RAM, and reflowed GPU.

Any ideas?

Thank you...

That really makes me wonder what is wrong with this box then....They arent even coming close to any of those load temps.

The raM is ~43*C.

Cut CPU temp trace.

Any ideas?
