Maybe after they've raked in the cash with the MW2 pack, they will finally release an empty HDD caddy and allow you to put an HDD of your choice in there!

Time to wake up  wacko.gif

Them bastards just need to release the usb drivers, let me use a external 2 terabyte HD if I want!!!!

Which 250GB HD would be compatible with the 360?

I guess the same brands that work now, only bigger in size. So all the WD Scorpie BEVS etc

I agree we should be able to use any size Harddrive we want, but you guys have to consider that they are a business, and like any business its around to make money, wich it does, because people buy the shit. Stop bitching about overly priced hardware or games, you either buy it or you don't... But also remember there may very well be a strict penalty if you don't buy it... but still manage to get it.

I guess this would be the one then:

http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/250-GB-Western-Digital-WD2500BEVT-Scorpio-Blue-25-SATA-300-5400-rpm-8MB-Cache-12-ms

Coupled with this:

= very cheap 250GB drive! biggrin.gif

I think we all know what's going to happen and why microsoft doesn't want it released separatly.

First, Halo ODST backups ban, but Originals don't............hmm codded to the .xex maybe.

And now, think about it....... someone is going to get their hands on one of these babies and extract the necessary info so that HDDHacker can build your own home made 350 Gigs........... but, since microsoft never sold them separately and most probably have a work around the mobo key of the 250hdd released with it.

BAM!! Bans for everyone that is spotted with homemade 250 Gig drives built with HDDHacker.
Cause the HDD is now married to the mobo key as well.  blink.gif
If not the case, than the should be sold separately.

First, Halo ODST bans were bcs the p2p rip was incomplete and easily detectable. Did you hear anyone get banned that used the scene release or his own rip?

Second, they won't marry the hdd to the mobo, the drive is detachable and can be used on other xboxes.

Third, eventually they will sell the 250G seperately, the bigger the HDD the more content the user can buy.

im thinkin the main reason they wont take it to market is due to the greedy price tag it would get, what they should do it stop overcharging for big drives in the first place, after all people want the capacity to download more from the marketplace.failing that actually put a decent sized drive in

lucky they dont sell cars, twice the price - half the engine (rather nice key though) :D

I'm sure it won't, it would end up costing more than an Xbox 360 itself, which would probably make MS look pretty bad...
