I'm having issue getting my 1st gen Xbox fixed. I'm getting the 3 red lights, and at first I was getting the 0102 code, but then it changed to 0110. I've tried using a heatgun to reflow about 4 times, and each time the XBox works for about 3-5 minutes, then locks up and will not start up again. I'm a little confused with what could be possibly going on here, since it appears the heatgun did reflow the solder. I've also applied AS5 to the cpu and gpu.
I got the 0110 error after I applied the AS5, and before I used the heatgun btw, so I'm pretty sure the issue is with the GPU and not the RAM.
Could it be that the GPU is toasted? I can't understand how that could be the case since the heatgun does get it going for a short time. Im lost.
Any suggestions on what to try next? I was thinking a reball, but I have no experience doing such a task.
(Also know for a fact I DID NOT use too much AS5)
