Cd Drive Problems

Ok so my Samsung MS28 has been messing me around for ages i have it flased on iXtreme 1.4 and it just stopped reading disks after a while so i replaced the disk drive laser and it worked ok for some games but had super slow loading times.

So i did the calibration thing wich made it completely useless tongue.gif so i set it back to what it was and its still messing around

how can i fix this? it wont read the disks i think i need the rubber band fix but i dont know how to do that

EDI:- I havent uswed the 360 for about 5 months since this its been sitting in a box waiting to be sold on ebay but i never got around to it so its just been sitting there decided to break it out for fall still not plugged it in i just want to know how to fix the issue

Check the laser's mechanism motor. It might have extensive dirt inside and makes it life hard to move the laser.
