Converting Regular To Goty Morrowind
« on: April 04, 2005, 05:48:00 AM »

If I have the PC version of Morrowind GOTY, can I inject Bloodmoon and Tribunal into the Xbox ISO and then re-burn it? I haven't been able to find any topics on this subject specifically. <

No, as far as I know. I don't think the xbox morrowind launcher files for the regular edition are capable of recognising game of the year files.  I may be wrong, but I don't think so. Plus, if it's possible, it's probably not going to get pulled off any time soon. Since a gathering of folks didn't take interest in that and figure out how to do it, there isn't anyone to show you how. The real game is cheap, so you could just scrounge up some pocket change and run to best buy. <

Actually they can. I'm not sure of the exact proceedure, but I know it needs to be done using the Morrowind.ini file.

In fact I'm pretty sure that (On a modified system) if you replace and add the following things from the regular version with the GOTY ones I'm sure it would work.

Replace/add these:

Replace the Morrowind.ini, and possibly the Morrowind.xbe

Add: Any thing dealing with Mournhold, and Bloodmoon

Replace: All the Data files (Meshes, Textures, Icons, Sound, Video..Etc..Etc)

I actually purchased the two addons separately, so I have bloodmoon.esm and tribunal.esm. Can I just add them as addons? <

ph34r.gif Obviously converting all 3 games to be able to played off of 1 disk is possible, it has been done with the x-box verion. ph34r.gif

uhh.gif The question now is how do you pull this off with the comp version? uhh.gif

Good luck beerchug.gif
