I was curious.. I saw this on a microsoft support site and thought I'd try to register it as a console on my account online...

What you mean you saw the top picture with the serial unblanked on a MS site then registered it?

Could be something to do with the new 360's with Natal  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
