How To Install The RROD Pro Repair Kit
This tutorial was written by Team Xecuter. If you use anything from this tutorial please give credits and also a direct link to this page. Also if we have made any mistakes or left anything out please let us know - thanks !

Xecuter are bastids! How about give some credit to the ones that actually came up with this "fix" years ago.
Stealing their ideas and marketing it as an Xecuter product. The ones that actually thought this up gave it out to the public for free, and Team Xecuter is raking in the profits.
This makes me sick...

I'm gonna make a website that looks just like theirs and then sell all the same things and say I came up with it all and came up with the web design and take all the credit for other peoples work!  rolleyes.gif

This is why I paid extra and bought an maximus extractor instead of a team xecuter. I will not buy anything from them after their first RROD kit.

You dont bake the console while its on!! This is very bad for the chips...never meant to be on during such temp. You need to reflow the solder with a heat gun. This method is shit, its old and accepted not to work effectively...its had its day.

Team Hybrids Ultimate Fix is the way to go

Bad form Team Xecuter...

Xecuter is generally BAD especially the Xecutor Australia distributor.  They stole your money and don't deliver the items.

I don't buy or use any of their products anymore.

Shame shame shame.

Same here. That "kit" was just a rip off. I used to love xecuter products from the original xbox but i doubt i would buy anything from them after the stickers they sold me as a fix.

LOL!!!! I feel sorry for the sucker that pays $30 for this kit. With $30 I could buy enough parts to fix 20 360s.

Bake for 5 minutes? WAA?  I thought 2 mins was the max that every1 agreed on?  Is it better to do for 5 then?  All mine have been fixed on 2, wouldnt 5 be a little long and cause excess heat?

Read the tutorial again, it doesn't say bake for 5 minutes.  It says wait until you get 2 red lights (overheating), then power off the system and wait 5 minutes until turning it back on.

"Now boot the console and leave it powered on until you get 2 red lights. As soon as this has happened power off the Xbox and connect the fan power cable to the motherboard. Leave it for 5 minutes and then power back up."

I purchased the original RROD kit and was pissed because it didn't seem to work... that was UNTIL I used the Llamma Baking trick (http://www.llamma.co...x-clamp_fix.htm) of using the fan to cool the processor while overheating the GPU. Low and behold it worked! Then I added on an X-clamp fix just to make sure it held. Sure, the overheating itself could have fixed the problem for all I know but for those who think their original RROD product was entirely bullshit are probably mistaken.

So I don't know how full of bullshit they are with this new product but if you're thinking of picking up a kit I do think there is a good chance it will work... of course everyone is right that the fix is not their invention and it may be overpriced, but my point is that if you're considering fixing your Xbox this is hopefully a viable option.
