We have also fixed the downloads page and updated the Dissasemble Xbox 360 Instructions to include info on how to remove the motherboard.

Respect to the Xecuter Team and all, im sure this will help alot of people out.

One thing though about the tutorial, OMG - Just how much Thermal Paste is being added on top of the CPU/GPU in the tutorial. Im not even sure with that much paste applied that the console would even boot, surely it would just short out at the chip.

Wouldn't it be better to amend the tutorial showing users/customers that they only need a very small amount of thermal paste on top of those chips & that it needs to be thinly applied across the whole of the chip?

That picture I would imagine to have come out of one of the M$ console assembly factories not from Team Xecuter.

is it recommended to use a heat gun to bake the system opposed to use the system itself?

Bake for 5 minutes? WAA?  I thought 2 mins was the max that every1 agreed on?  Is it better to do for 5 then?  All mine have been fixed on 2, wouldnt 5 be a little long and cause excess heat?

2 mins don't give the solder enough time to melt. anyways the kits a joke, RROD repair is a joke period. There is no point in fixing them as it will be totally dead 1 day. just sell it off for parts and get a arcade system.

I fixed mine using the older guides and it has been running now for over 2 years...  I fixed a friends whos was extremely bad and it only worked for a couple months....

But atleast I got mine running and knock on wood, its going strong still.

Just to let you know the solder wont reflow from this so called bake method, no matter how long you do it! All this does is flex the board under the chips which in turn makes a connection again. So yet again another half assed product from team x.Not trying to bash them as they did all kinds of great things for the scene in the xbox one days (more than i have or could of dreamed doing), but it seems they are just trying to make a quick buck these days. Plus i think i could of done 4 consoles with the amount of thermal paste they used (a small amout the size of a grain of rice will do) use RBJtech's tut!

THOSE

SCREWS

ARE

COOL!!! Removes the need to drill the metal shell! Probably give support for the center of the MOBO by giving it something to rest on.

Those screws are probably what make their fix good... but yea, they can't use that much Tpaste.

Didn't it say in the original release that they made their own x-clamps, because I dont see any there. And they needed to make the tutorial simple and noob-friendly as possible because only noobs will be buying this.
