well the dmca may be soon applied to even more things as at the moment there is a big lawsuit between blizzard and mdy.

blizzard makes mmorpg games and mdy made a porgram the read blizzards game in ram to automate the game (aka a bot). well the jude ruled that the bot violated dmca for reading ram which is what a lot of virus scanners and other software do. ram changes all the time as well so if that lawsuit is completed with blizzard winning on that account then have the dmca spread to other countries is going to have a much bigger effect than what many think it will.
