Hi guys , just wondering if anyone can help here i have a 1.6 xbox modded with the Xecuter 2.6b , modchip all was fine with it , now there is no power at all going to the motherboard , i have tried a different motherboard a 1.6 again and that works fine , is there a fuse that could have blown on the mainboard , and if so which would it be , i have checked and i cant see any faults.

help and any photos etc would be much appreciated.

You are saying that there is no power going to the motherboard but it powers up another motherboarde, sounds like there is power going to the mobo but there is a curcuit break somewhere in the mobo. With the V1.6 it is most likely your transistor (SOT23) located just under the LPC.

Test it with a multimeter first to see if that it the problem

hello again , i didnt have a multimeter , so i did what it says anyway , any blimey the thing works fine now , it was a bit tricky to fit (i used one from a spare xbox motherboard from ages ago , a v 1.0 xbox that i knackered up when i didnt know how to solder), anyhoo its working great now.
