Damaged Motherboard Connectors Under Power Connector Fixable?

The component on the Right hand side there (R8N8) is supposed to be missing. You're going to need a much better pic than that also. wink.gif

Mark what's missing on yours on this pic here and repost it..

On the top row there the Resistor (R8N5) is just a 0ohm jumper, so ya can just solder a wire in place of it. The Capacitor (C8N1) should be replaced, though you'll have to get one from another 360 board as the values of most of the SMT caps aren't know. It's best to replace missing filter caps like that, but it may be alright without it.

The bottom right Resistor (R8P5) is 7.5k

The bottom middle Resistor (R8P9) is a 1.1k Precision Resistor, and that just means it's a 1% or 2% Tolerance Resistor.

Another thing ya need to make sure of is that no traces or pads where damaged when those components were ripped off there. If they're all still intact you're not in too bad a shape, but if some are damaged it'll be a bit more work to straighten out.

Yeah replace the Resistors and fire it up, it's just a filter cap and will probably be alright with it missing. It's always best to replace those things, but quite a few of them on there can be knocked off and not cause any issues at all.
