OK got the RROD, did the Xclamp replacement, and now when I turn it on it just has the solid green center light. When I try to sync the controllers, they act like they re trying to sync, but nothing happens. when I then push down on the CPU heatsink I then get the RROD.  Any Ideas?

This is actually coming from a guy who fixes 360's as his job, and does a bunch in a week. Mine is causing him mucho problems. He was doing so much to my 360 that I am sure he has already tried the heat gun thing. I just talked to him, but I had never heard of the heat gun method, so I didn't ask him. I know he doesn't have internet right now tho, so thought I'd ask you guys before he gives up.
