I just got my "Falcon" yesterday and every game i put in the dam thing freezes, with or without HD, and it freezes even without playing any games. needless to say it's on it's way back to Microsoft.

It just occured to me that everything was fine for the first couple of hours (before I had any games), I then downloaded the new Brothers in Arms demo and thats when the troubles occured, I did this XBox 360 Cache Clear And deleted the demo and all seems to be working. Strange.

have you tried to format your HDD, i have one just like yours, but formatting didn't solve mine, i had to get a new HDD, then it ran normally, my friend got the same problem, he format his HDD & it ran well

Well I was wrong, After I did what is mentioned above it ran fine for a couple of hours, the next morning it started locking up again, also the time on my XBOX never sticks, always defaults back the "out of the box" date and time.

This really pisses me off, my first 360 and out of the box it is nothing more than a pile of usless plastic and metal.

I'm having the same problem. Your Xbox doesn't like your HDD. I've been told that I have to replace my HDD. Once I do that I will update you.
