this isnt spam, calm down...
i bought my 360 for $50.00 because it had a broken dvd drive so i went on ebay and bought a bunch of things that were broken...
heat sink
controller
hard drive
controller battery
faceplate
dvd drive
blaster360 so i can fix the dvd drive...
it has a hitachi drive and i bought a samsung ms28 to replace it.
the xbox did work perfectly when i got it except the dvd drive sounded like a chainsaw when i put a dvd movie in becuase when i took it apart i found out it was stepped on, thats how the cpu heat sink got bent
after i had it all apart i installed the blaster 360 and as soon as i had that installed i got the 3 red lights of death so its a good thing i also ordered the 3rod washer repair kit off ebay.
so once the washer kit came in i installed it with the instructions i found on llamma.com and it doesnt work at all, it said once its all installed unplug the fan and let it over heat for 10 to 15 minutes so i let it over heat for 10 minutes then i let it cool down for 30 minutes, i plugged the fan back in and turned it on but i ran into a problem. the blaster 360 doesnt light up anymore AND the fan doesnt work at all even tho its pluged in, i rigged up an 80mm pc fan to see if it was just the fan that stopped working but that fan didnt work either
any idea's of what went wrong?
it worked find aside from the dvd drive
blaster360 was installed and i got the 3rod
installed the 3rod repair kit and i have no power to the blaster 360 or the fans AND it didnt fix the 3rod error
now the xbox sits with no hope because im out of idea's
and here are some pics of the xbox360 after i painted it, im yet to install a new faceplate still, i dont like that chrome one but thats the one that came on it
it has color changing paint that has purple, green, yellow, blue, pink, and orange.
