This maybe in the wrong section and all but i bought a used xbox360 I'm guessing it's a core system... but anyways, I've flashed the DVD drive on it and can't quite seem to figure out why the system keeps locking up constantly.

Of course i can't send it into M$ because the warranty has been voided (thats how i got it) but if there is a way to fix it it'd be great... if not then idk what to do. I've tried looking online for xbox 360 locking up but to no avail.

read these forums?  the answers should all be here in some form.  overheating can take on many issues....so look at all the tutorials w/ an open mind and don't just shut them out because they don't say "locking up"
