so im halfway through the x clamp fix, and im at the point where i have to overheat my gpu but not my cpu...
when i power on my fans will spin for a second then stop... and the system doesnt appear to get hot at all...


im guessing its some sort of short or tracer... but the only thing i could find on the motherboard were a couple tiny scratches on the brown rings where i took off the x clamps, i dont think that should do anything as those are insulators anyways.

any suggestions?

loosening didn't work... trying to get my hands on a heatgun now.
