100% faulty laser, bad flash would never have booted in the first place, and console would red ring and throw E66

£6 on ebay for laser look for HOP-141, benq and liteon use same laser.

20 min job piss easy, just remember to remove the solder blob from the laser pcb before installing or it will blow the diode and youll have to buy another one!!
