Crosflashing Help

I've been trying to crossflash my PLDS DH-16ABS but I keep having problems.  I flashed the iHAS 124-B firmware and converted the drive with the EEPROM Utility.  After rebooting my pc the drive will not eject. I've upgraded to the AL0S firmware and then flashed the burner max firmware and it still won't eject.  I've restored the drive back to the original firmware and it works again but it won't work when I crossflash.  Any ideas?
