Its always been stated 1175 has been ready for months awaiting a noob friendly way of getting
ofw without rgh,and an alternative method to write to the drive.
To assume the work xKey team has done suddenly made this possible is comical.
Lets just be glad progress has been made and thanks to the teams involved.

I wish they would just put-out the xtraction method, I have boxes here with 1175 that are on 15574, that I/we want to ODDemu.

Also I really hope the standard unlock methods are available for professionals  

Im guessing we'll see unlock PCB shortages again, even for a pro they present a nicer/neater option than kamakazi.

Don't you see it?  that's the damn problem.
For one, They claim it was ready for months, without a single proof-of-concept.
On the other hand, with the 'PMT' that was the case (supposedly), and they kept it under their bed.
Without TheArtificer's announcement, you wouldn't have heard of any progress whatsoever from either C4 or
T-X.

Two - I hate the way they roll,, meaning there's no sharing - Unless they get something out of it, they will keep
it down and quiet.

Real sad.

You couldn't have said it better. I'm appreciative to have such a dedicated team such as xecuter but I hate the way they have made what was once an exciting hobby into a money making scheme.  I have no doubt what so ever that they hold back findings so they can get a head start on a money making method. I'm a business man and I probably would do the same but it breaks my heart because this community is so different than what it use to be. I wonder how much C4eva is getting to be exclusive?  Just my opinion, flame away.

Team Xectuer is a business and you have to accept that. They have provided some nice free stuff, but at the end of the day, they are in this to make money.  Not sure you can really blame them for that.  Sure, we would love everything for free, but if it is left up to people to come up with free solutions all the time, the motivation isn't there and likely won't happen.

I don't want to turn this thread into a profit/non profit thread.  Thanks to Xecuter for at least providing a solution to those with 1175 drives.  Hopefully someone will be motivated enough to find a free solution, if not, then this is what we have to work with (could be alot worse, ie. no solution).
