No Cut Trace Sata To Usb Adapter Method To Get Key From Slim Drive 022
« Reply #1 on: August 21, 2012, 04:44:00 PM »

The method i used when i didn't had usb pro was:

have jungleflasher on, configured  and on right sata port i/o and on dvd key 32 tab
the usb adaptor just needed to be plugged in, don't need to be installed.
have usb adapter inserted on a 2.0 usb on pc.
insert it on 0225 drive,
power ck3 on, then quickly open and close drive,
swap sata cable for the sata mother (leave ck3 on),
(the trick is to be fast, if u take to long to swap sata, then it won't work (like 10-20 seconds is ok)
press slimkey on jungleflasher,
answer "no",
wait for it to ask to resend command, (don't press yes yet)
turn off ck3,
insert usb adapter on 0225 drive,
turn on ck3, then quickly open and close drive,
swap sata cable for the one on the sata mother,
press yes,
wait for the process off dummy extraction to finish,
save, load 3.0 automatically
go to mtk flash 32 tab
turn off ck3,
insert usb adapter on 0225 drive,
turn on ck3, then quickly open and close drive,
swap sata cable for the one on the sata mother,
press intro/device id on flashing tasks
confirm winbond on flash chip properties and drive in vendor mode on drive properties
press 0x8C on flashing properties and answer "yes"
drill a hole with soldering iron
at caracteristic sound press write on flashing properties, usually before third beep (for fun).
wait for it to ask to resend command, (don't press yes yet)
turn off ck3,
insert usb adapter on 0225 drive,
turn on ck3, then quickly open and close drive,
swap sata cable for the one on the sata mother,
press yes,
Wait for the process to finish with key verified message,
voila.

All process didn't take as much as to write it all, lol (usually less then 3 minutes).

Got a usb pro 2 now, It sure make all things easy.
