Similar question here, are current truncated XGD3 backups working on LT+ 3.0 or they have to be re-ripped/patched with topology data and only than they will work?

I am referring to the following information:

QUOTE
Version 3.0 of iXtreme LT+ for BenQ and Lite-On (both phat and slim) does in fact retain support for truncated backups
>> From c4evaspeaks.com

Should I interpret this as support incorporated in the LT+ 3.0  for current truncated XGD3 backups?

From my tests the Truncated games ive burnt still need patching, but can still be burnt truncated once patched.

How come when I open LTPlus-0251-v3.0.bin in JF it shows it as iXtreme LT 1.1?

IPB Image

Has JF not been updated yet?  I got the latest version.

Yea i would hate this i would manually get the file. If i used this 1.1 it would not load the latest games. Not
sure why jungleflasher did this cuz it used to know what was the latest firmware!

Obviously not, as the new firmware came out late last night and the last release of JungleFlasher was 26th November. They only need to update the definitions to recognise the new firmware correctly, which will be a quick change (unless they're working on any other features for the next release) and the release usually follows immediately after a new firmware version - but they probably won't get around to it today!

It will still work fine without officially recognising the new firmware, though.
The Benq firmware, LTPlus-0442-v3.0.bin, is showing as LT-Plus 2.0.

so i have  a console that is blocked on my router from accessing live (not banned).  I don't care about accessing live now or in the future.  Do I still need to flash the drive with v3 in order to play burned games going forward?

Until you update your dash, you strictly speaking dont need to, but you would be well advised to, in order to future-proof your backups.

I think I will be sticking to my own generated topo's and steering clear of the 'median' patch(es) I've been hearing about... I guess this system might still work-out for both sides after all ;-)
Hope the new AGBX has means to single out any patching of such (I'm sure it will, as it's a well put-2gether app in my experience)

Wow the noob-support thread element seems a little more noobsih than usual.. I guess we normally have an FAQ up by now that covers most of  it, (I guess some ppl don't even read the news articles anyways ;-) But given the time of year: I'm happy to be getting my XS RSS as normal.

Merry Xmas and a happy new year all.

Hi guys,

I've just got done flashing my liteon 93450 back to stock and then to LT 3.0. Everything seemed to go well, my 360 booted a backup straight away but when I boot with my original MW3 I get error E66. Does anyone have any idea what's wrong?

Thanks in advance.
