Hi,

I previously dump my 9504 using tarablinda and extracted 3D3Esectors, dvdkey, identify, inquiry and serial.bin and flash to a 74850 for my slim.

Now i wanna flash back to 9504 but i lost the original 9504 drive. So i bought it from ebay again and now i am stuck on how to create a dummy and flash back a slim drive using my previous backup from tarablinda.
I heard some say i need to do some hexing.
If anyone who think they can help or guide me on this or even post a link, i thank you in advance.

Oki

Load up Jungleflasher and under the tab DVDKey32 select Dummygen then browse for your files.

Thanks for your reply, but tarablinda backup does not work with jungleflasher.
when i select serial.bin in dummygen, error says file is not 80 bytes.

opening up your dummy file in hex editor just shows all zeros not much use
take it that your dvdkey file is your key
inject your key into the orig 9504 file in the firmware pack then rebuild it with the info from your drive
use the lizard fix procedure to get info off the drive
have not done this myself but see no reason why it shouldnt work
in saying this if you bought another 9504 off ebay dump firmware off this drive and inject your first orig key into this new drive

You could just hex edit it into a JF dummy manually.

Hardie, Thanks for the help. I did try to rebuild it using the DVDKey.bin and manually write the serial from the serials.bin using hex to view, update to 0272 but get open tray.

OggyUK, what i need to hex edit? which file am i gonna use?

Glad you guys trying to help out. Appreciate it.
