I've had an Hitachi sitting waiting patiently for this whilst 3.0 is released for my current Liteon. Thank you very much C4eva. I honestly wish I could shake your hand but I'm sure a donation is sufficent. You deserve every ounce of respect.

Thanks C4eva!

I assume we can only use this though for backups if the 360 has not been on live since 11-16. I have an old samsung ms28 that is in the preview program and played and xgd3 title fine for a while after the 16th, but then when I fired it up on the 23rd I got the unrecognized disc error as eveyone else has. So I assume MS must be doing some new CIV checks or something else that doesn't fully rely on AP2.5 data to stop all AP2.5/xgd3 backups from running on any 360.

In any case this firmware is probably the hardest to test & code given the large number of drive revisions and the fact that you can't buy fat 360's anymore. SO, with that said, many props to C4 and his team for pushing this firmware out despite the fact that LT+ v3.0 is already in the works.

I appreciate all your free, hard work and wait patiently for LT+3 to be perfected. Take as much time as you need. Better to get it right the first time!

I have an old Xenon with a Hitachi 0047.  I was playing original MW3 perfect. Updated to LT 2.0 and now my backup plays just like the original.  biggrin.gif

*edit*
Works online too.

i flushed a 46 and five 47s but all of these didnt work correctly.
they cant handle xgd3 backups. xgd2 backups are fine.
all xgd3 backups were burned by Burner Max and Verbs, works perfect with Benq LT2.0 and Sammy LT2.0.1

E66 with backups only... but originals work.

E66 shows `wrong drive revision` if you do secondary code, do you get 1002...

for a fix

1) Reflash the firmware with the correct Vendor version string using your computer.

Check some hashes, see if the vendor strings are the same in the firmwares for those who have it. Could be a REPACK due.

I had also thought 78 and 79 were new enough to be AP2.5 affected, where 46-59 are not. I could be vastly wrong here.

The new JF 1.90 recognizes my Hitachi v56 drive but won't allow me to select any flashing options.  Whereas my older JF 1.74 recognizes the drive and allows all flashing options.  I restored my drive to stock using 1.74, but any suggestions on how to get 1.90 working?  Yes, PortIO64 has been signed, no errors upon loading JF.  I even tried running it on my Win7 32bit laptop with the same results...
