here is a trick i read on xbox-hacker forums

basically a small PCB that takes a prompt from the ROL centre LED, and when it blinks for eject, it cycles the 3.3v to ground and ejects the drive.

just need to find the right pic and programmer now lol

will see if i can somehow use a plain old switch first as he gave me the xbox as i sold him a replacement (samsung which is very happy about especialy in the current ap25 fiasco). but thanks for the response
