So my roommate asked me to flash his xbox. He has a 93450c drive that I guess is now 02510c because it has the latest dash. I've got everything I need to flash it but I'm having issues with Jungleflasher. Now whenever I select the port that the drive is connected to, the computer freezes. It doesn't do this with just lite-on drives either. I had flashed all types of drives fine in the past but now its not going well.

Its an old computer so I had to put a VIA card in it. I installed the card, reset, disbaled card/deleted driver/re-enabled, reset, installed portio32, and then reset. I load up windows with everything connected and open jungle flasher without any warnings. I go to select the port that the Lite-on is connected to and then the computer freezes. I've tried connecting to other ports as well.

Any one have any ideas how to fix this? I'm perfectly fine using dosflash if there is a way to get the key from a 0251c using a PMT.

is the VIA only option selected?

Also, if you disconnect the drive, and cycle through the ports in JF with no drives connected does it still freeze?
