u have to unlock it using the russian hack put original firmware then it should update with no problem

you shouldn't use that board for xbox360 updates you should use you're original drive

have tried flashing it back to stock now and changing the WP jumper, but i still cant get into it sad.gif

removing the flashmemory (4gb) doesnt help either..

isnt there someway to clear the failed update? Cant think of anything else now..

You should put original 9504 board, then update the console, then put the txboard with 0225u lt2.0. Simple.
You cant update to latest dashboard with tx board because the console tries to software lock your drive (and it cant because its not an original 9504 board, its a tx board.)

I had the same kind of problem with a DG-16D4S, it was on 9199 dash and I thought I could go ahead and update it to LT+ 2.0 0272. Needless to say i got the update failed messages too. Flashing it back to stock 9504 didn't help but flashing to 0225 stock let it finish updating to 13604.
