9504 To 0225 Do The Dash Update

Could i take the 0225 drive out and install the drive into the 9504 and do the dash update via a USB pen drive ( I know its the wrong key but will it still do the update) I then want to reflash the 9504 to LT 2.0 and put it back into the console, again is this possible?
