it will work fine if you update the samsung to the latest firmware (LT+v2) and spoof it ...
then update console to the latest dash ... as the hatachi's dont get flashed by dash updatets it should all go to plan smile.gif

but do try to research next time, althou its getting harder to understand all the new stuff thats going on when ya been outta the loop even if its only 3/4 months !!

It's currently running LT v2.0 spoofed as a Hitachi.
Also, the dash is up to date. Most backups still work fine. XGD3 do not.

my old mans hitachi drive was replaced ages ago with a samsung ms28, i spoofed and flashed the drive ect and all was well... when i updated his firmware to lt2 and spoofed the samsung again as a hitachi 78.. the console would not play xdg3 games, it would get an error and a red light.

to solve this all i did was unspoof the samsung and reflash with lt2 sammy and all was fine.. everything works ok, so just try flashing the samsung without doing the spoof.

You must UNSPOOF the OSIG. You can not keep OSIG spoofed anymore, and have no reason for it.

My xbox is hitachi 47. And i do have an ms28 lying around. Is this means i can just get thr hitaci keys. And put it in my sammy ms28 and flash the sammy with sammy lt2.01 ???
No need to spoof the sammy with hitachi anymore although my machine original drive is hitachi ?
