Try to flash it with ms dos commands by these steps
1 power on the drive
2 type l-o-eras ec00 "port of ur sata " do it 2 times
3 type "dosflash" then enter
4 ur drive will show in the list
5 type y then it will show 0x72
6 power off the drive then power on
7 chose the nomber of the drive then "w" to write then type the (name).bin to complete

Thanks iraqeez, I tried this already, but the drive is not recognized in dos also. The number of the sata port is there but it says no device.

I did to step 5, but it doesn't recognize the drive.

Any other solution please ?

Use another sata port or via chipset pc
also dont forget the command l-o-eras "port"

I did all that buddy. I changed the sata port, I even disconnected my HDD from its sata, and connected only the drive in that sata port.

But maybe I should make the usb bootable under Win 7 ? Because my USB has some Win 98 files that make it bootable, then added the l-o-eras.exe, Dosflash.exe, FirmTool.exe and the FW file. Or doesn't matter which way it boots ?

use Jungle flasher
MTK flash tab hit the intro device tab but right before you hit the tab turn ur drive on that should make you're drive visible again

Thank you ichigoxxx for your reply.
It won't be visible as long as there is no firmware for the drive. My problem isn't making it visible, my problem is : How can I avoid the "Device Intro Failed" error message when I hit "LiteOn Erase" ? I can't flash my drive if it doesn't go to vendor mode. Please anyone got same problem as mine and found a solution ?

When I hit "Intro/Device" button, it starts to look for my drive by adding the dots, the status shows 0x80 , I keep power cycling the drive quickly, within 1 second and sometimes for 1 second, and I can see that the status changed from 0x80 to 0x7F when I turn off the drive.

go to the hitachi tab and disable ur drives and try again

Ur drive its alright its a sata problem does one of you're friends have a xusb360pro? that would help u a lot

Thanks man for keeping up looking into my problem.
I have ordered an x360usb and will see if it fixes the problem. If not, you think that the board is burnt ? If so, I guess I will then buy a new Lite-On drive.

for me ms dos commands never dissapointment me before
and very easy to do than windows
