did you do anything physically to it?  if not, and cfw and ofw wont let you play games, but they do on another drive, seems the answer is kinda obvious.

No not done anything different, drive was definatly working before flashing so i cant understand it, this 360 elite never gets used its a couple of years old and its been in the spare room. I guess its not got more than a few hours of gameplay on the clock so i doubt its faulty but i suppose it is possible seems strange it only went like this when i put the LT 2.0 on it. Ive got a new laser here so will fit it to the drive to see if that, i have heard other users saying that in some cases the laser has died during flashing so they disconnect before flashing. I must say ive never had this problem but who knows.

Swap boards between the two drives an' see what happens.

No never plugged one in yet upside down. Now fixed new laser fitted now works a treat.
