That's normal. I've seen Halo Reach say something of the same degree and it's the original. Someone on page 13 said he's seen it happen on GoW3 orig. as well.

I am confused regarding the information I am hearing on this issue. I know a spoofed drive can't be in the system during the update process, but if I update via usb which will flash my 47 hitachi back to stock can I still spoof my samsung drive back afterwards and update to the 2.0 firmware? I am not sure if this is only during the update process or if this is an issue every time an XDG3 game is put in the system even after it is updated.

Can someone help clarify this for me. Trying to figure out if my samsung drive is now worthless. I don't play online and only play offline so just wondering if after updating with my normal drive can I put the updated spoof drive back in?

One more spoofing question if my kids original lite on was a 7450 I believe and they now have a benq can I update with a different version liteon drive like a 8350 or whatever it is can't remember. Then put update their benq and put it back in it.

firstly if its orginally supposed to have a hitachi drive rev. 47 (so a sammy spoofed as a hitachi 47) then it wont even try to flash or look at ya drive anyhows so just carry on!
But its different story if it was orginally a sammy (so the hitachi spoofed as sam)... if thats the case yes put the sammy back to stock then update dash

and xgd3 dont work on hitachi rev.47 yet the ONLY drive that int had any news on a update yet !)
they see the game and starts to launch it but dont actually play them !

I already have updated my dashboard and installed LT+ 2 too.
But I can't play xgd3 games yet, e66 error at first, after reading some tutorials I found someone that flashed to LT+ 2 in a spoofed drive with the same problem, and the solution was to put the drive with the original firmware without spoofing to other model of drive, just put the lt+ 2 with the key of the other drive and thats all. This tutorial was made using a benq drive spoofed as lite on, now, mine is samsung spoofed as benq, the problem is that I got "Reading disc error" message after trying to play xgd3.

If anyone knows something about this issue, help me please.

yes you need a drive that can do ap2.5 checks, a samsung cant.  you'll have to buy a benq drive to play xgd3 games afaik.

It is a hitachi motherboard, samsung is spoofed as a hitachi 47. It is currently just on 5.3 since I haven't had to worry about the ap 2.5 checks with that firmware and didn't want to keep updating.

Also I have another one that is lite on 7450 motherboard, but have a benq drive in it spoofed as a lite-on. Can I use any version of lite on to update that motherboard then put the benq back in with updated firmware.

No.
To back up the new XGD3 games you will need to get yourself a BenQ or LiteOn drive, and flash it with the new 0800 FW

My results are as follows:

Samsung flashed with LT Plus 2.0 spoofed as a Liteon using the latest dash allows all games to boot other than XGD3 games. The bottom right light in the ring flashes red when an XGD3 game is inserted.

Liteon flashed with LT Plus 2.0 no spoofing
Everything works

Thought I'd share my experience since there appears to be some questions regarding spoofing drives.

I used my friends liteon to update the boys 360 which is originally a liteon drive, has a benq drive in it. It updated fine and plays normal back ups no problem but when I put the my back up of gears 3 in didn't get e66 on screen but got one flashing red light in corner, put in back up of other games plays fine.

Is it no longer possible for me to spoof drives to play the XDG3 format disc? Will I have to buy another liteon.
