e66... did you try updating the dash with a backup game?  or a flashed drive that was spoofed as another drive? did the update finish or did your xbox just go right to e66?

if your xbox boots to the dash, try updating via usb flash drive.  download the update from MS and use a flash drive to update your dash.

it will flash your drive to a stock fw, which you will be able to read/extract with JF, then flash with 2.0.

Kreon yes, chuck it out lol. Don't use clonecd, use imgburn. I used clonecd for years and found that imgburn is much better. Less coasters.

As always, you need the key for stock or custom firmware. Get it before you erase anything or move on.

hey guys,

i've got an offline box with liteon 7485 with lt+ (1.0) and i would like to update to lt+ 2.0.
db version is currently 12625. i know i have to update to 13599, but what would be the best way to do it? reflash the drive to original stock fw and apply the db update or let the update flash it to 02510 (i'm guessing the second).

i would also like to know if the db update that reflashes the drive to 02510 will change my key or make my dummy.bin file unusable. i only have a ck3.

Your key is the same. The dummy.bin file is still perfect to use. Yes, update your dashboard and then flash LT+2.0

get the update from MS and use a flash drive to update your xbox.

You can use the Lizard toolbox to dump the drive's firmware, use JungleFlasher to open the firmware file and create a new hacked firmware, then use Lizard toolbox to flash it back to the drive. Or wait until the LT2.0 fileset is released, I'd expect it later today.

You're getting ripped off 38p is 10p more than you should be paying for full face printable cheao discs. Aone dual layers are top notch (for the price paid). £6.50 ish for 25.

weird, i installed the game to the hard drive using standard db rip feature and everything worked 100% except the game still loading and reading from the disc instead of the hard drive......

the game would be an xgd3 backup of course

since the current abgx doesn't support xgd3 isos, I assume you are all burning non-patched xgd3 backups and running them?  Sounds too risky... I'll just wait

For those asking about dash updates prior to flashing lt2.0, i flashed my drive straight from xtreme 1.4 to lt+2.0, and then installed the dash update from the gears 3 disc, and there were no problems at all. Didn't get flashed back to stock, and no error messages at all.

I have a fat benq, fwiw.
