Hi, maybe somebody can look at this dummy what is wrong with this.
Dummy is from Liteon FW 0225, labeled as 0401.

I tried allredy ixtreme LT+ 1.91, 1.91u, 1.92, 1.92u - no one work - allways "play dvd" error.

I do not have the orig.bin, only the dummy.bin.

Play DVD is usually caused by having the wrong key. Are you sure you got a proper dump with the right key? I can't check you file upload right now. If it is the right key, then it could be a calibration data issue. Check the Xecuter forums for a thread on the topic. I have had the same issue. Try ejecting the tray and then powering off with the tray open. Then power on and put in a disc and see if that works. That solved my issue about 75% of the time.

i am sure, the key is ok. as i read it twice. serial nr is ok, too.

the only problem is, that on label printed 0401 FW, and inside is 0225 FW.

And i did not read the orig.bin, only have a dummy.bin.

On 0225 (Label 9504) i was told to change in hex-editor 3 bytes from 20 20 20 to 00 00 00 to solve the "play dvd" error. This worked fine. But with 0225 (Label 0401) this trick is not working.

Try using the 0225u fw.

yes, i tried 0225 v1.92 and 0225 v1.92u - both give me "play dvd" error.

Sommething is wrong with the dummy... can somebody look at my file, link is above.

Dummy bin looks fine. If you flash back to stock do you still get play dvd error? If yes then it is the wrong dvd key. Also the correct firmware would be LTPlus-0225-v1.92u.bin

Interesting that opening your dummy.bin as source autoloads LTPlus-0225-v1.92u.bin.
I didn't realise JF did this (must be new in 1.87), but it obviously recognises it as a special case.

However, it may not be the exact special case it thinks it is.
LTPlus-0225-v1.92u.bin is for 0225 labeled as 9504. (factory upgraded 9504s)

Maybe CFW doesn't exist for this case yet! (factory downgraded 0401s!!?)

yes, it looks like factory downgraded 0401 Liteon.
bad that i did not read out the orig.bin
MFD is 30.06.2011.
