Yeah dont know why us hitachi users always get flagged with having a drive that sucks.

Most Hitachis do not have AP 2.5 protection unlike most other drives
Hitachi supports XGDR3 without a reflash
Hitachi played Wave 4 backups without a new modded firmware or lame bootdisk
Hitachi unlikely to get banned from MS due to the lack of support for the current and future anti piracy measures
Hitachi 360's are the only ones that can currently play on live with the new dash running backups. And maybe a few old samsungs
Hitachi may not need a newer LT+ firmware. You'd probably still be safe running on 1.51 due to no AP 2.5 support

I've got a launch console from 2005 and have not been banned yet. I'm glad I've got a hitachi. However I havent updated to the new dash yet. Will wait to see what happens over the next couple of weeks.

Hitachi drives the best ones to have.

That sucks.

The game loads but the kinect says it needs a update, but that's the old dashboard so it doesn't comply with the new one?

I plugged in the kinect an it said you need a update like what?

Updated to dash, then had it reflashed to LT 1.1 now it no longer works.

Which doesn't make sense as the last update in january supported it so how can it need a update?

The new dashboard must of did something to dsiable it?

It's funny, all my games work fine but can't even sign in live because it asks to update so will just reflash back to stock again again * sigh*

So annoying.

Although i could have swore people were going on xbox live with a flashed LT 1.1 playing back ups but how is that possible with what i just typed above?
