Vote again, people really want red-Terminator style.

I think it's obvious by the poll that MORE people want green.

I was just trying to sway the mod in my favor. Glad we can come to a consensus! Red it is!

I like the covenant colors because...the covenant are awesome!  If somebody releases a mod where you can play as the covenant this UI would be perfect! biggrin.gif  tongue.gif

But until then, red will have to suffice. biggrin.gif

jester.gif i thought the first one was good and the 2nd wasnt aweful.... 3rd was by far the worst.... but anyhoo the UI is lookin really nice. dark green instead of blue is pretty much all i'm changing and i might fool around with the planet/halo ring stuff for the menu. ive got all the simple bitmaps like headers and words done, and r starting on the hard ones with multiple colors and blue. i think u guys will be very happy with the results.

i edit the UI by extracting the bitmaps from the ui cache.... i wont be doing the HUD for 2 reasons:

1. im pretty sure the hud bitmaps r in every level, not the ui (or in addition to the ui)
2. hmt hasnt supported all the types of bitmaps for extraction like they had promised (among other things *cough* xbox map rebuilding *cough*)

i open each bitmap in photoshop (u need the .dds plugin) and for most of the pics i just ctrl+u, check colorize, and use 120, 60, -30... it gets complicated for the more complex pics. ill prolly do dark red next! expect the dark green release this weekend.
