I've done a couple 9504 so far with JF, but I ran in to one tonight that won't unlock.  A few moments after clicking Slim Unlock I get "MTK Vendor Intro Failed.  If you wish to resend the command..."

Below is the JF log.  If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.. Thanks

For my opinion, you need to explain more detailed procedure to make your flash good.

Otherwise is very difficult to answer  or get an opinion for you problem.

Remember is always better to restart JF or OS and re-power re-plug sata I/O if you see device intro falied. But may depends of many type of hardware config, for example after device intro falied, for ME on a win seven ultimate 32, fresh install on asus pk5pl-am , just need to:
* close JF 1.81
* power off dvd drive
* unplug I/O (wait few [5-10] seconds)
* replug I/O
* repower dvd drive
* open JF
 Works and unlock spi with no prob! on Native ich7 sata controller!

JF tutorials is updated , but you take a look on it?
Some people hard work on it, if read all on tut. doc., then probably found all answer you need.

Yes I read the tut.  Yes I tried restarting the drive, and JF, and the whole PC.  Yes I've tried more than once.

Ho man!  You may try to put tray of dvd drive half open? (Power drive, eject tray, close tray with quick power off), and connect to I/O and repower ....

No dice.  All the other 9504s I've done have gone perfectly smooth as instructed in the JF PDF.  This drive just wont unlock.  Other than not unlocking it seems to work just fine (Ie plays orginal games, ejects and is detected by JF)

just get into this same problem with a 9204, after doing 6 with no problem, i have the keys so i am not "TOO WORRIED"
but still xD

For anyone that has seen this issue.  Please note if JF identifies the drive as a 9504.  There are reports of other FWs being on drives labeled as 9504

I can confirm that JF sees my drive as a 9504

Perhaps there are a few confirmed 9504 that are actually 0225's? Just like those 93850 were named 83850 (those we refer to 83850 v2).  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

JF can detect what FW is on the drive.   We are not just going by the label... as explained above

its on 2.20 11625 , its working fine, all titles play fine, ust cant get stupid unlock to work
