Think about what you are saying.
If they changed the key "which they would not do" retail games would still work. And if they changed the key on just the drive or just the nand to make the drive not load any games then they would be intentional breaking consoles which even they are no dumb enough to do.
i don't think you understood what i was saying.
new ap25 challenges would stop games from booting, but the console should still recognize them as games (instead of "play dvd") and show a black screen with LT+ firmware,or unreadable disc on older ixtreme versions.
the play dvd message on all backups (but not retail discs) happens on consoles with stock firmware.that's why im saying maybe the new dash returnes the drive back to stock firmware.
there's no evidence that microsoft can't flash the drive's fw via the console.sure,we all think it cant be done, but nobody knows for sure.
i never said they would change the dvd key on just the drive or nand, that would make the console show "play dvd" on all discs, including retail.obviously this is not the case.
but,if they can flash the drive back to stock,it's logical to assume that they can also change the key in BOTH the drive and the nand, like they do with serviced consoles when they're sent for repair (they change the keys in all repaired consoles).

lol don't talk about things you don't understand. It has the effect of making one look a little silly.
dev kits are able to change the key in the dvd drive and create a new keyvault,i dont understand why i am being silly for thinking that the new dashboard could to the same thing on retail consoles (assuming flashing is possible).
