Liteon 93450 Help Needed!
« on: February 03, 2020, 01:36:00 PM »

So last night my son brought me his xbox 360 that he tried to mod and he didn't do a very good job and I need to fix this if possible. I believe he tried to RMA it then repair the traces and try to PMT it. Here is what he did.

His PMT attempt.

The wire

His end result

And now it looks like this after I took off his "trace repair" job.

Could someone lay some insight on what I need to do to fix this for him. I have good
soldering skills and have been working around technology since I was a teenager so I can do what needs to be done. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you =)

good job cleaning the solder off, that was problem #1.  notice the 3 cuts, solder them back together w/o shorting to grd and all will return to as normal as possible if he didn't fry the drive.  looks like hte tried to pmt and mra hack, kinda odd.
